HOW DID THIS ALL START?
100 Who Care Alliance was started in November 2006, by Karen Dunigan of Jackson, Michigan, as a brilliantly simple way to raise money for local charities. At their first meeting, 100 women raised over $10,000 to buy new cribs for an organization in their city. Since then, this initial group has grown to over 200 members, and there are more than 700 100 Who Care chapters established or forming worldwide.
